PSTA to run Free Routes for Zone A Evacuation

St. Petersburg, Fla. –  Residents seeking shelter Friday morning can ride a PSTA bus for free.

The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) will run evacuation routes for residents living in coastal areas and mobile home parks beginning at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning as part of the county’s mandatory evacuation order.

Buses serving the evacuation routes listed below will not require a fare from any rider seeking emergency shelter and will stop at any safe location along the normal route to accommodate riders attempting to board. Riders traveling on a PSTA bus with pets must keep them in a carrier at all times.

The following routes will run free evacuation service to these shelters Friday:

 To plan a trip on an evacuation route, riders should refer to each routes normal posted schedule online at or call the InfoLine at 727-540-1900.
