PSTA invites you to experience Real Time Bus Information. The system works with GPS technology and allows PSTA to pinpoint each vehicles exact location at all times. This means we can provide reliable, real-time departure information to passengers.
Direct Connect Is Simple
This program lets you get a discounted ride to/from a PSTA Direct Connect location, so you can skip the walk to/from the PSTA bus while staying safe and comfortable. Direct Connect makes using the PSTA system easy and saves money. With 26 locations across the county, there is a convenient Direct Connect stop near the start and end of your bus ride. Choose from one of PSTA’s innovative partnerships with Uber, Lyft, United Taxi and Wheelchair Transport to get you where you need to be quickly and affordably. Direct Connect is available from 5:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m., 7 days a week.
You can now access Direct Connect while in the Transit app!
Just look for the Direct Connect option after entering your destination in the Transit app. You’ll see both Uber and Lyft options for qualifying Direct Connect locations, and it will even automatically apply your voucher!
Using Direct Connect in Transit app
Direct Connect services are now supported in the Transit app.
Options for Direct Connect will include a hybrid of PSTA’s routes and your preferred ride hail app (Uber or Lyft).
The first time selecting this option will divert you to the PSTA Direct Connect Page to claim your voucher. All times after that will auto-populate the route data.
Lyft will operate in similar fashion and the pass should auto-populate into the field. The terms and conditions of the pass will be explained.
Your trip will auto-populate from the transit app and you can select to hail the ride when you’re ready.
Uber
Click on this voucher link to add the voucher to your Uber app account (t.uber.com/pstadirectconnect). Then enter the Direct Connect location as described on the map, or use current location when at a Direct Connect location to get $5 off your of your trip.
United Taxi
Call 727-777-7777 and let the dispatcher know you would like to take a ride to or from a Direct Connect location to get $5 off of your trip.
Lyft
Enter Promo Code LYFT2PSTA on your Lyft app account. Then enter the Direct Connect location as described on the map, or use current location when at a Direct Connect location to receive $5 off of your trip.
Wheelchair Transport
Call 727-586-2811 and request a ride to or from a Direct Connect location to get $25 off of your trip.
