PSTA invites you to experience Real Time Bus Information. The system works with GPS technology and allows PSTA to pinpoint each vehicles exact location at all times. This means we can provide reliable, real-time departure information to passengers.
This October, an innovative transit service is debuting to connect residents and visitors from downtown St. Petersburg to the beaches – and so many places in between! Called bus rapid transit, or BRT, the SunRunner is the region's first modern, fast transit service designed to get riders to Pinellas County’s premier destinations.
This service is unlike any other transit system in the area, with riders experiencing a service more like light rail, rather than a traditional bus service. Riding in its own lane, the SunRunner will bypass traffic to get you to your destination more efficiently than driving on your own. Customers will enjoy free Wi-Fi; charging ports at every seat; interior bike storage; and raised platforms at the stations that allow strollers and wheelchairs smoother, faster access.
