Contest to design bus wrap that encapsulates diversity

St. Petersburg, FL – The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) is hosting a month-long contest to design a bus wrap that encapsulates diversity. The “Diversity Drives Us” competition is looking for local artists to capture PSTA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Mission Statement in their artwork. The winner will have their design wrapped around an active PSTA bus, which will make its debut as part of PSTA’s celebration of Juneteenth.
“Diversity, equity and inclusion are major priorities for us at PSTA, and this new bus wrap will showcase our beautiful melting pot of a community,” said Brad Miller, Chief Executive Officer of PSTA. “It doesn’t matter what you look like, where you are from, or whom you love, everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing how the artists interpret it from their perspective and bring it to life.”
Entries must be received via email to marketing@psta.net no later than February 28, 2022 at 11:59 pm. The entry form and complete list of guidelines can be found here.
“We hope that by bringing this art to life on a moving billboard, people will be able to honor the impact that the African-American community has had on the progress of equality in the public transportation industry,” added Miller.
