Clearwater Ferry Expansion: Connecting Communities, Boosting Recovery, and Launching with a Maiden Voyage

 

Pinellas County, FLTODAY The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA), the City of Clearwater, and other leaders will board the Clearwater Ferry to celebrate the launch expanded service connecting downtown Clearwater, Clearwater Beach, and soon Dunedin. An animal ambassador from the Clearwater Marine Aquarium will lead the way down the dock for the maiden voyage, marking a vital step in Clearwater’s post-Hurricane Milton recovery. Media are invited to join the inaugural trip to experience the service firsthand.

 

This eco-friendly transit option enhances access to destinations like Coachman Park and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, supports local businesses, reduces traffic, and offers residents and visitors a scenic and memorable way to travel.
