PSTA buses are now enabled with contactless payment readers, making paying for your ride easy and hassle-free. Most newer debit or credit cards, smartphones, and wearables like Apple Watches, FitBits, and Samsung Watches are now equipped with contactless pay options.
In fact, PSTA is the first transit agency, along with HART and The Bus -Hernando, to implement this first-of-its-kind contactless payment system in the state of Florida. Through contactless payments, we are setting the standard for how easy paying bus fares should be.
It’s all about proximity! By tapping any of these payment methods onto the contactless reader, your fare can be processed in seconds. Just look for the contactless symbol when you board your bus—if it’s your first time using it and you’re having trouble finding the contactless reader or using your contactless payment method, please go to psta.net/pay to learn more.
