Introducing the FREE UPASS: Pinellas County Schools Students and staff ride PSTA for FREE with a PCS ID!
Pinellas County Schools is partnering with the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) to provide free rides to students and staff (including volunteers and substitute teachers!) through the Universal Pass, or UPASS, Program!
All Pinellas County Schools students and staff ride free all year round! Just display your school or employee ID badge to the PSTA Driver. Substitute teachers can display valid substitute teacher slips, and volunteers can display valid level 1 and 2 badges. You may also be asked to verify your identity with a photo ID card.
RIDE ANY ROUTE, ANY DAY OR TIME, FOR FREE!
Approved IDs to Ride Free
Pinellas County Schools:
- Students—ID badge, screenshot of online portal showing they are currently registered, printout of current class schedule
- Staff—ID badge
- Substitute Teachers—substitute teacher slip
- Volunteers—levels 1 and 2
- **all may show anything that proves that they currently fit in one of the above categories**
